Did you ever use a Dr’s glove as a balloon as a kid? I know I did!
Let’s face it, all kids love balloons!
And don’t worry we have lots of different balloon activities that your kids will love.
Balloons are one of those supplies that I always have in my house.
From balloon tennis, to body popping to even science experiments the possibilities are endless!
However, my activity today, has a balloon twist.
We will be using a latex glove as a balloon!
Yep, you heard me right…a glove!

Silly Glove Balloon Activity
To Make This Glove Balloon Activity, You’ll Need:
- a latex or vinyl glove
- a hole punch
- a plastic cup or red solo cup
- a straw
- a sharpie
How to Set Up A Silly Glove Balloon Activity
First, draw a face and the numbers 1-5 on the latex glove with a sharpie.
Next, use the hole punch to punch a hole at the top of the cup but not too close to the rim.
Next, place the latex glove over the rim of the cup, without covering the hole.
Blow Up You Silly Balloon Hands!
Have you child place the straw in the the hole and then blow!
The glove will fill up like a balloon!
Be ready for lots giggles!!
My girls thought this was absolutely hilarious!
They did it over and over again.
Did you know that blowing activities help with speech? Who knew!
Here’s another super fun blowing activity you may want to try, as well!
I love how the glove balloon wouldn’t always blow up all the fingers at once as it then lead to number talk.
“Which number finger is blowing up first?”
“Oh, look! Now, which number is blowing up?”
My oldest daughter loved the glove balloon as well.
She challenged herself to see how big she could blow up the glove!
Look at that! That’s impressive!
Again and again, in between giggles, blowing up that glove like a balloon!
Full of smiles, giggles, a bit of number practice and I’d call this activity a win!
