Play Cars Tube Ramp Activity for Toddlers & Preschoolers
This super simple activity is sure to grab your toddlers’ attention.
To Create Your Own Cardboard Tube Car Ramp Activity for Toddlers, You Will Need:
- small toy cars and trucks
- long cardboard tubes (wrapping paper tubes are the best)
- painters tape
- metal cookie sheet (optional)
I added the cookie sheet to the bottom of the ramp to create some sound for the kids.
As the cars reached the pan, the noise it made was cool.
The kids loved it!
We choose do this toddlers car activity in our living room which is carpeted so the pan was a great addition.
I must say, my daughter played with this for at least 30 minutes.
Definitely an activity win!
Colored Car Drop Activity for Toddlers & Preschoolers
For This Color Sort Toddlers Car Activity, You Will Need:
- toy cars and trucks
- small cardboard tubes
- painters tape
- dot stickers or markers
- laundry hamper (optional)
- metal cookie sheet (optional)
First, place a colored dot sticker onto each cardboard tube that matches the colors of the cars you have.
If you are using markers just draw a colored dot on each tube.
I didn’t use all the colors of the cars we had. I chose 6.
Next, tape the cardboard tubes to the edge of a laundry hamper.
Or you can tape them some other place in house that’s raised (coffee table, couch, chair etc).
I placed a cookie sheet on the bottom of the laundry hamper to create some noise, again. This is optional, however, the noise is a lot of fun!
Your colored car drop activity is ready for your toddlers and preschoolers to have some play fun!
Time to Sort Cars by Color
Give your child the toy cars and trucks and have them sort them into the coloured tubes.
