But December is also my birthday month! I turned the big 4-0 this past weekend!
Since that’s a big number, I want to celebrate with you!
I want to share something a little different this year with you, to show you my gratitude to you.. we are doing 5 days of giveaways this week to celebrate!

It’s my Birthday! 5 days of Giveaways
Starting today through this Friday December 10th, 2021, we will open up a new giveaway to the end of this post each day.
You will have the chance to win some of our favorite products and supplies for doing activities with toddlers and preschoolers each day this week, along with one of our eBooks you can find in our shop.
I am beyond excited for you, and I hope you will be too!
Each day this week, I’ll update this post with the day’s giveaway.
If you’re on our newsletter list, you’ll also receive an email with details on how to enter. I do have to make these giveaways for US residents only… which isn’t ideal, but I gotta follow the rules.

Day 2 Birthday Giveaway: My Favorites
Day 2 giveaway prize package is obviously my favorite, since it’s a package of my favorite activity things!
If you don’t already know, I am a huge fan of gross motor activities. I believe kids need to move in order to sit still. And learning on the move is all the more better.
Remember: Gross motor skills, building those big muscles are necessary in little kids to then be able to build their littlest muscles that are used in fine motor skills (and we use those to do things such as write and hold a pencil).

You’ll find that we do a lot of tape activities here on Hands On As We Grow, and I like to use string in some of our big movement activities. I also absolutely love butcher paper for learning! It’s like taking a worksheet and blowing it up big to get their whole bodies involved… none of that sitting at a desk.
