Sometimes you just want to sit and color. I get it because I feel the same way. too.
Over the Winter Break, I have had a hankering to color with the kids. Plus, it’s on the list of Fun Things to Do Over Winter Break.
Printable Winter Coloring Pages for Kids & Adults
Especially over long winter vacations, coloring can be a great way to destress and reset moods. But hunting down all those winter coloring pages can take some doing.
So I decided to make a super quick resource of some Christmas and winter coloring pages for kids. I also made one for adults, because you all need some coloring time, too.
I bet you’ll be surprised how much you enjoy it. And how much the kids enjoy you coloring with them.
Make Coloring Together a Fun Activity
My kids have not always been into coloring. In fact, I wrote a post on what to do with crayons just because my kids wouldn’t ever use them to color!
But now, maybe they’re growing up and can sit for a bit, they actually enjoy it! All in good time, right?
One thing I learned: with toddlers, use washable markers! I highly recommend Crayola washable markers (affiliate link), they come out of everything!

How do you make a coloring book from printables?
Now that you have all these awesome coloring pages to print, why not turn them into a coloring book.
This is super simple!
Grab 2 sheets of card stock. Nice and sturdy!
Next, use a hole punch to create 3 holes on each coloring sheet and also the card stock.
Line the pages up between the two sheets of card stock. These will be the cook covers.
Have your kids do some fine motor threading with either pretty ribbon or simple yarn to bind the books together.
Pull out some stickers and markers and let everyone design and personalize their own covers!

Now, the difficult part: which pages to print and color first? I’m so torn between doing my own adult version or setting the kids and I up with the same page for everyone.
