Check out this Rainbow Jelly Bean Experiment, for a cool science and art activity that your kids are sure to love.

Even though rainbows are something you could explore all year long, we always tend to do them in the Spring around St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick’s Day and rainbows go hand in hand, right?!

Have you ever found that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

I sure haven’t, but I’m still hoping my luck will come one day. Haha!

Rainbow Streamer Runway Project

For this activity, all you need is some streamers in every color of the rainbow and some painters tape.

Tape up the streamers in the order of a rainbow and you’re set.

Get those long winter wiggles out by getting your kids to run free through the streamers.

Spinning Balloon Rainbow

For this project, you will need balloons in each color of the rainbow, clear packing tape and a blow dryer.

Blow up all 6 rainbow colored balloons and then use the clear packing tape to tape the balloons into a circle.

Use a blow dryer to blow air under the balloon circle on an angle and watch is go.

It may take a couple tries, but when you’ve got it, the balloons will spin around and around.

This is a super fun rainbow project that keeps you on your toes!

You may want to add an extension cord to the blow dryer to avoid tripping.

Both my girls, continued to take turns with this.

It’s so cool to watch when the balloons start spinning.

Give it a go!
