If you’re a somewhat long time reader of Hands On As We Grow, we absolutely love any type of scavenger hunt. And the Easter egg hunt is the traditional scavenger hunt that started it all.

It’s what hundreds of thousands of kids do year after year on Easter morning.

It’s what I remember doing as a child, exploring and searching for those eggs, hoping we can find them all so we don’t have a rotten egg in a few days.

There are many versions of an Easter egg hunts, and even some that don’t include the eggs!

How to do Easter scavenger hunt?

As you can see in the list above, an Easter scavenger hunt doesn’t have to be difficult! You can add any twist to bring extra excitement.

From simply hiding eggs all over the house or yard and releasing kids to explore and search for them, to having clues at each spot to send you off to the next.

kids just love to hunt for things. It’s like hide and seek, but mommy and daddy don’t have to keep taking turns to be the hider and seeker.
